Chorus (“Chorus”, “we”, “us”) operates the Chorus mobile app and this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at chorus@patslo.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the app:
- Account information — your name, email address, username, and (if you set one) a profile photo. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile details those services share.
- Content you post — your daily answers, any photos you attach, reactions, and comments.
- Social connections — the accounts you follow and who follows you.
- Usage and device data — basic information such as app version, device type, and general activity (for example, that you answered on a given day to maintain your streak).
- Notification tokens — if you enable push notifications, a device token so we can send the daily question and replies you care about.
3. How we use your information
- Deliver the daily question and unlock the chorus once you’ve answered.
- Show your answers, reactions, and comments to other members as part of each day’s chorus.
- Maintain your streak, following relationships, and profile.
- Send notifications you’ve opted into.
- Keep the community safe — review reported content and enforce our rules.
- Fix bugs, understand how the app is used, and improve it.
4. How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
- With other members — answers, reactions, comments, your username, and profile photo are visible to others in the chorus once it unlocks. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want other members to see.
- With service providers — companies that help us run the app (for example, hosting, database, and push-notification providers) process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- For legal and safety reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our members and the service.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to keep it for legal reasons.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access and update your profile details in the app.
- Delete individual answers, or delete your account entirely.
- Turn notifications on or off in your device settings.

7. Children
Chorus is intended for people aged 16 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
8. Security
We follow industry best practices to protect your information, including encryption and strict access controls. We regularly review and strengthen these safeguards as the app evolves.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
